These three guys, all former 'Grounhhogs' members have been there and got the T.Shirt. They are loud at times self indulgent (long Jimmy Page type guitar solos) belting out late 60's early 70's heavy Rock/Blues metal. With Marshall amps stacked at the rear and plenty of feed back cutting the air it was an absolute pleasure for blues rock metal purists especially the ones stuck in a time warp, spaced out like the lone groover on the four corners of the universe! well something along those lines. It was a fairly long show with some of the new numbers showing a much more bluesy feel but still continuing with the same great vocal sound and top quality guitar work creating a very impressive sound for a three piece.
Guitarist and vocalist Eric Chipulina reminded when singiing of john Foggerty - lead singer with that great band Creedence Clearwater Revival. At other moments I heard Bachman, Turner Overdrive (You ain't seen nothing yet) who's gravely vocals I remember belting out as I lay legless on a local village hall floor 35 years ago, lights flashing, disco thumping as someone poured beer from about four feet above, directly into my face (oh, those days of lager and lime!). Rock and roll was getting into my system then, the rest as they say is history.
