Blakeney Harbour Room

Friday 16th January. Raw power came to the Harbour Room in the form of Stonerunner as support for the amazing jaw dropping blues guitarist - Larry Miller. It was a fantastic show Andy Bloomfield my 1st viewing of his band Stonerunner, theatrical entertainment with plenty of attitude - direct and hard hitting. Great stuff. Could Larry Miller follow that? he'd viewed half of their show smiling throughout this was his 2nd visit to the Harbour Room, I knew what he was capable of and as he took to the stage, plugged in his guitar an awesome sound kicked in. Solid drums and bass made for a tremendous sound. It was loud, shades of Rory Galagher a hero of Larrys hints of Gary Moore and even Jimi Hendrix. Tremendous stuff.
